Di Dove Sei?

I can now confidently ask and answer six questions in the local tongue. This means that the people will understand what i want to know. It doesnt mean that what im saying is proper or would be said that way by a single Florentine. What im saying is that i can walk into a pharmacy and when a worker asks me what i would like i can say "How much does it cost, Gilette Razor?". This will get me what i want as long as long as i have the required currency but im pretty sure i could formulate a better english sentence than that by second grade.

Class was surprisingly enjoyable. Apparently 9 am is extremely early in this country so i will have some days where my earliest class will get pushed back. Trips have also been pre planned to a number of gardens i had wanted to visit and several towns i would love to photograph. Apparently theres this one place, Rome, which i ve heard is a pretty big deal. 

I heard a solution to the worlds problems today that i must admit sounded pretty damn good.... PASSION.

if that doesn't ring a bell it should. I believe The Beatles were onto a similar idea with their song "All We Need Is Love". My professor brought up a good point in suggesting that approaching one's work with passion rather than disinterest could yield much more pleasant results. Sounds a bit Utopian but i believe passion at any level would be a step in the right direction.
